Day in the Forest
On Friday, October 7th students of all grades are invited to participate in field trip to the Brush Creek Visitor Center – for a Day in the Forest. Students will participate in interactive science stations presented by the Conservation District, Game and Fish, and the Forest Service – focusing on environmental science and wildlife biology.
We will leave the school at approximately 8:00 and return to the school at noon. Buses will run their regular Friday schedule (except for the mid-morning pick-up/drop off).
All students need to come prepared for possible cold weather by wearing a jacket, enclosed shoes, and long pants. Your child should also bring a water bottle, hat and/or sunscreen, and gloves. A small snack will be provided, but please feed your children a good breakfast or encourage them to attend breakfast in the lunchroom so they do not go hungry.
We need parent volunteers, so if you are able to join in the fun, or if you have any questions regarding “A Day in the Forest”, please contact Angela Tourney @ 307-710-6218 or ATourney@crb2.k12.wy.us
